Day Trip Biking Routes on the KVR Trail

Before planning to take a day trip on the Biking Routes on the KVR Trail, please check out 'Current Travel Information' located in the header of the website.

Biking the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail, part of The Great Trail of Canada, is a stunning way to explore Boundary Country along Highway 33. Winding beside rivers, through rolling meadows, and past historic landmarks, you truly feel close to nature and to part of Canada’s past. And there’s a whole lot of trail to explore, guiding you to the communities of Beaverdell, Westbridge, Rock Creek, and Midway.

Living in Kelowna, Boundary Country is basically in my backyard, being only an hour’s drive away.  I had travelled through Boundary Country by car, yet I had never ventured out to explore the KVR Trail. The main challenge for me was not knowing where to start.

As former railways, there are very few steep inclines, meaning you can adjust the challenge level by the length of your journey. As well, you can start your journey from any community.

These KVR Trail cycle routes will get you started on your next adventure on The Great Trail:

Day Trips – One Way

Half-Day – One Way

Half-Day – Round Trips
